A List of Free (Random) Ideas

  • Connect kids to their local community - rural or urban - they can take what they learn there and apply it as they live and grow.
  • Monthly animation stations in schools (and at home) - more about animation resources for K12 HERE.
  • GoogleHangout home-base in middle school/high school (connected to kids in other places - share a home-base).
  • The International Space Station - don't ignore it. It is traveling at 17,150 MPH  and orbiting Earth once every 92 minutes. Use this app and look up - it's awesome.
  • Limit the amount of time you do the talking (keep track of the time - set a personal best) - This one is on my to-do list.
  • If you live in a rural area, connect with someone in an urban area. If you live in an urban area, connect with someone in a rural area. Don't judge each other. Repeat with someone in a different country or culture. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. The world will be a better place.
